Livia Fabiani was born in Rome in 1994. She studies in Rome, where she attends the school of Architecture. Her passion for the art, territory and photography find the ideal synthesis with Street Art.
Photography becomes the expression of an art that, for its’ specificity, is destined to a short life. Through photography, a work of art is documented during its progress to its final completion. Therefore, here the idea of the development of the ‘Urbis Ars’ site begins, which collects photographs of artists that have created murals in cities around the world. The meaning of Urbis Ars is ‘Art of the city’, therefore it highlights Street Art’s value as equal to other traditional artistic expressions.
In this research, Livia Fabiani curated the following works: ‘’Know Thyrself ’’ by Solo, Liceo Classico Socrate, Rome, 2013 and "The Metamorphoses’’ by Diamond, three
murals in San Paolo, Rome, 2014.
She exhibits her photos in several events such as "Urban Area" and "Villa Ada meets the World".
Livia Fabiani nasce nel 1994 a Roma, dove intraprende gli studi di Architettura alla facoltà di Roma Tre. La sua passione per l'arte, il territorio e la fotografia trovano sintesi ideale nella Street Art. La fotografia diventa l'espressione di un'arte che, per la sua peculiarità, è destinata a vita breve. Attraverso la fotografia, il lavoro artistico viene documentato durante il suo processo di realizzazione fino al suo completo compimento. Da qui l'idea di sviluppare il progetto "Urbis Ars" dove diffondere le proprie fotografie. scattate non solo in Italia, ma anche nel resto dell'Europa. Il significato di Urbis Ars è "Arte della Città" in questo modo viene evidenziato il valore della Street Art al pari delle altre espressioni artistiche tradizionali.
In questa ricerca, Livia Fabiani ha curato i seguenti lavori: nel 2013 "Conosci te stesso" dell'artista Solo, al Liceo Classico Socrate di Roma; nel 2014 "Le Metamorfosi" di Diamond, tre murales alla Stazione Metro San Paolo di Roma.
Le sue foto sono state esposte in alcune manifestazioni artistiche come "Urban Area" e "Villa Ada incontra il Mondo".
